The Headshot Booth: A+ experiential marketing

Updated: Oct 7, 2021

Experiential marketing isn't new, but it's making a big splash because brands are getting extremely creative with ways to engage customers with this type of marketing. It is sometimes referred to as “live marketing” or “event marketing” or "engagement marketing." The idea is to create an impact for potential consumers. Hopefully, the experience will inspire them to share with their friends online and in person.

Tradeshows are a specific place that brands are looking for ways to make an impact. If you've noticed an explosion of creative and elaborate booth design, that's no coincidence. Why not give your tradeshow attendees an amazing experience and swag they can use? Why not give them a free headshot?

Back in March of 2020, I had the pleasure of putting together a team to serve the entrepreneurs of Start:Me, a business incubator here in Atlanta. We set up The Pro Headshot Booth in the hall of the Goizueta Business School at Emory, so that we could photograph the attendees of the Start:Me kickoff meeting.

Start:Me sponsored The Pro Headshot Booth and participants were treated to complimentary hair and makeup touchups, and free headshots that were delivered instantly by email.
